The vessel is arranged with an optimized hull design, large propeller, two-steps gear, variable speed generator, take me home-solution and, a battery package of about 1.0 MWh. The shipowners are also involved in onshore facilities with processing in Værøy, and therefore the vessel is arranged also for fresh fish with fresh fish factory, combined RSW /live fish tanks, and the possibility of icing in containers. Jarle Berg is considered to meet future requirements and expectations for a minimal environmental footprint.
